Droopy prickly pear?

I have a drooping prickly pear and its organic however can my tortoise eat the pads? She goes crazy when she sees the plany. I really need to know

Are we talking about opuntia cactus? If so than yes they can eat it.

Yes optunia i was worried because i read that it was a weed

Not a weed at all. And tortoises love weeds. There's a long list they can eat. Opuntia cactus is a very healthy food to feed tortoises and they love it.

And can i burn off the spines with a lighter?
Like G-stars said, they have spineless opuntia. I bought mine on Ebay and it doesn't even have the stickers. The pads come and you let them dry for a week or so and then stick in the ground. In about a month they have roots and start to make new baby pads.
