Normal tongue?

Hello everyone, i have a baby hermann tortoise which i purchased back in august. I noticed some white patches in his tongue. Is this normal?

Sometimes I wonder how they eat without biting their tongues off...
Or maybe it’s just Curtis that sticks his way out? Lol

Tongue looks very normal/healthy to me.

I see what you're talking about. I know in human babies this is called thrush. I don't know if tortoise babies get it or not. You might want to consult your vet about it. Seeing it in person is much better than trying to diagnose through looking at a picture.

Thrush is very painful...does he act like he hurts? If not, I would doubt thrush. But I have no idea what it could be.

He acts and eat normally though [emoji28], his appetite is also very good [emoji16]

And that is the real decider. I really don't think ot is any cause for concern

If that changes, then go to the vet. Otherwise try not to worry
