i wasn’t going to say the same thing lol, i didn’t know how to bring it up.It’s recommended that you keep your tortoise off of the floor, and in a large, secure enclosure.

Not my tortoise. I'm just commenting on weather. Last thing I want to do is tell someone to put their tortoise outside when it's 40 degrees for the high. Original poster is in Abington, Pennsylvania. Current high temps are mid 40's. You are in Texas. Quite a difference.
