Yeah, I did know someone that had a Cap.....I "met" it when it threw ____ at me.....yup! Didn't hit me because of that whole superman thing but the man, my Dads friend, still had trouble getting it to cage up. I'm not upset that Kerry gave me "the look" when I suggested it, but I'm still super happy for you guys!

These weren't the same things I played with at the Nat zoo nor are they anything like the happy, family oriented guys you have E;
I was at Bldg #9 @ NIH(never guess who we were working for? yupLOL) when an orderly tried to steal a monkey. These were, for lack of a better metric; "medical grade" monkeys and extremely dangerous. Even I didn't mess with them so that's saying something!
He made the mistake of uncaging a Rhesus....a 30-40 lb bundle of very Pi**'ed Off power in order to put it into a bag to remove it from the building. It did not go according to the plan. Nope, this thing ran off the rails the moment he opened that cage I reckon! The guy would have begged for it to only have "ripped him a new one", his fate was much worse. He lived but he'll never watch King Kong again with the same face and he won't have any kids...cause well wild animals know how to attack, and where.

Saw Dr Chiro this afternoon, 4th visit. He is organized and methodical and he's great guy so he's conversationally fluent. It's amazing how fast we find commonality....He saw the same lame red fox that I did on Sat. morning at the Rt 2 exit to get onto 50 to cross the bridge. I saw it when I got on the exit around 10:30am, the Dr must have been pretty close to have also seen him. He was limping just past the guardrail in plain sight, holding up his left forepaw...poor guy.

Mr Darin is moving along downstairs. He builds a very snug floor. I bought the stuff from a pic......but I really like it in person. LOL

The floor looks really nice and easy to clean. ❤️ I use commercial grade bound rugs on laminate. They are from a discount store that sells the bound remnants for cheap . You can easily roll them up and clean under it or throw them out . I have a bunny, a cat , joe, and me that could go slip sliding away if not.☺️let alone visitors. 😉

LOL...you look and see "easy clean", I look and see "no bunny destroyed carpet"!

We aren't going to re-inhabit that level, other than for storage. I have to move things that I'm keeping over to Kerry's over the next year & daughter will be moving so we aren't going to replace the furniture.
Ok 👌 Slip sliding on the laminate in your socks sounds fun too. Except im too old for that I'll be stuck on the couch 🤣 I'll just sit back and watch it happen to everyone else 🥴🙃😀

LOL...we went down last night and the large room is done....but it's not slippery, its textured, probably to keep us from having fun sliding!

I woke at 9:45 last night, so I decided to "work from home" today.....still love that phrase.
I work from home & I'm retired. It's called "housework." Those damn dust bunnies reproduce faster than normal bunnies, especially with cat hair. I luv that Houdini is hairless & furless!

Just found out that some of my emails are going to my Gmail account. I happened to get a notification of a email in my Gmail. I clicked on it and it went to my emails. I looked through them and noticed there were some emails that I usually get in my yahoo email. I went to my yahoo email and non of them were there. It started about 2 months ago. I don't know how to get in my Gmail. But somehow I need to change settings so those emails return to my yahoo email. Not every email goes to Gmail just some.
Looks like a trip to the ATT store for help. 😞

Good morning/afternoon all,
Just when I thought I was on the mend I dipped again on Tuesday and felt as if I was back to square one. Must have tried doing too much too soon. Thankfully picked up again now, but coughing still keeping me awake at night which is exhausting - so I intend to take it easy for a few more days and catch some sleep when I need it.
We've had a few rainy days here but it is warmer which is a boost for our spring flowers and the trees, which should be bursting into life.
I hope you're all well and warming up where you are.

Sure hope your headed uphill.. flus never good
Thanks Heather, good to hear from you - often wonder how you and your clan are. Pleased to hear you and the rest of the family are doing Ok. I love the pictures - Cinders looks resigned to having a monkey hanging about and I bet she loves it if they start to groom her!
Jayden is looking very grown up since we last saw him - quite a young man!!
Hope you find time to drop in again soon - until them take care.

That's good and even better than what my son and I installed. I didn't realize how slippery laminate could be at that time. I still don't mind it though. I like an area rug anyway. It helps keep the floors warmer.🤗 When I get sick of it I can roll it up and throw it out or give it away. I hate wall to wall carpet also. It's really dirty even when you actually shampoo or steam clean it.

That kind of crap happens to me also all of the time. Or it takes a long time to get one and what I'm trying to do times out. It's frustrating.. I did unsync them because I don't want my yahoo stuff going through my Gmail. It would be nice if when they decide to do all their updates they tell us what they are going to change in OUR settings.

Good evening TFO, just sitting on my porch enjoying some fresh air and sunshine. Had a quick rain to produce these beautiful rainbows. 🌈

Wow what a day. I already had stuff to do and the microwave blew up with noise and light when I tried to use it 😜 eeek. I got the bird feeder camera the night before and was trying to figure that contraption out too.and other stuff. Yikes. So I had to go shopping for a microwave and found one. I couldn't find a clerk so I had to ask 3 teenagers for help to take it down from a top shelf. We had a blast 😂 saying love you if we crossed paths later while shopping. When I finally checked out I ran across My adopted grandson Dominic and wifey. ☺️ with Levi, Andrew and Isabella in tow. So I got to meet my adorable great granddaughter Isabella for the first time today. Then Dominic helped me load the new microwave in my car. What a perfect catastrophe!🤗

I'm so glad everything worked out well for you in the end, Cathie.
Maybe it was fate that took you to the store so you could meet Isabella.:<3:

OK, I'll say it.....Isa is gorgeous! What a perfect little face with her perfect little breath.....
No wonder they say "bebe, the other white meat" LOL
What's the sayin? "Good things happening to good people"

Kerry's micro died, mine is sounding like I need to keep 6' between us, and yours dies, in spectacular fashion....sounds like a conspiracy.

Lyn, time to get better, enough of this up/dn stuff, ok? Glad to hear that you are moving n the right direction again!

I couldn't fall asleep till 7pm, then woke again at 9....and forced myself not to get up. That was a Superman task since brain seems to wake at full speed, where as my body as you guys know, takes a couple hours!
But then I woke at 3AM.....raced out to make my coffee before the water shuts off for 15 min....I really have to reset that backwash cycle...this is a little crazy.

Mr Darren is moving right along....my 3 pocket doors in the basement are causing him some angst with the threshold locations as centering them causes contact as the door is closed. I don't know the proper solution but if he makes it look good, I'm fine.

You know guys, I have the best contractor! He picked up and moved over 1 ton of materials into my basement before he even started! Every day, he lets me know his arrival time the next day. If he needs a break, he'll tell me today, that he's going to take a break for a day. He's unlike any other Contractor. I asked him WHY?
He said; "I don't work cheap but when I work for someone, I'm their employee and I treat them as a boss"
He is realistically 60% complete of an 8K job for him, He asked yesterday evening for 40% of the value for his first payment.

enjoy the day guys.....TGIF!!
