Good evening all just popping in on a borrowed laptop to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope you are all well, and have special plans for the Xmas festivities. I'm going to be spending it with a sister and some of her family including baby Isaac who'll be 2 in a few months, so that should be fun.

The weather here is far from Christmassy. Nothing like 'Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.....' More like 'Let it blow, let it blow, let it blow......' We've had rain and very high winds for several days now and that's set to continue into next week. The temps are above average too and I heard today that it could be the warmest Xmas on record for over a century. Very confusing for the wildlife.

After being parted from my laptop for a few weeks or so when it was left in Leics, it was fixed recently with a new part, but then stopped charging again. So one of my nephews has let me borrow his old one while another nephew is trying to fix mine. I've missed reading all your posts but hope to log in more often now. Fingers crossed for success this time.

Anyway have a lovely Xmas with your families and I'll not see you soon.

Merry Christmas. I'm so glad to I guess not see you.but low and behold you are here I decided to scale down in size on a Christmas tree this year but I still like it. Joe bought some of the ornaments and so did I over the years.🤗🎄

Wow I really love your outdoor Christmas lights. The outdoor palms are so pretty 🌴 the rest of it is adorable too. Even the Grinch looks happy 😁🌴🎄

Yesterday I walked outside at 5am at the Nook......and I heard the deer crashing left, right and center! There must have been a bunch out there that ran when I opened the sliding door. Kind of neat there with the deer, the ever present geese cackling down by the water and other wildlife.

I stood there just listening, to my heart and the wildlife sounds....and I'm in a very good place. Kerry was is in bed, snoring beautifully.... we have had another great year together. All five kids are good and their futures look good. It was a good Christmas

Today....I'm searching for house painters and window guys at 2:30AM.....we're at my house this week, we've got things to get done! Matilda our Box turtle is coming back to the Nook with us Thursday!

Was wondering what happened to Ray....he turned into The Santa Claus!

We dropped off gifts for my 2 Pharmacists on the way to talk with another finance-guy. We just got back to the Nook but look what we did along the way! We stopped at the courthouse for a license!

Thanks guys, and yes pics at some point......it's like Jupiter's moon has to be in right phase for me to look good....they called it Aquarius in the play, right? LOL

Kerry has been sick all week, hacking coughing, the drill you all know, So this morning, I'm symptomatic and she's kinda concerned and kinda laughing...the whole "superman doesn't get sick huh?"
She left to go to Delaware to get her oil changed and she called to see how I was. I played "sick" on the phone....I really should get an academy award for my performance. Meanwhile, I'm loading the second 4 gallons into my sprayer as I work in the yard.

I actually wasn't teasing bout the whole "don't get sick" thing....Took me all of an hour to blow through it.

I have just asked @Yvonne G to reinstate my Jacky And Daisy thread because it has disappeared. Two of the pictures below were posted on it earlier and I would have posted the photos of the sunset on it as well. They were taken three minutes walk from my flat in Westcliff.

The pics are pretty M, I hope your thread can be put back. Maybe there can be a place for long term threads and for the more prolific folks. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that realizes that for some folks, these little guy just mean "more".

2:30am, been up since midnight. I was a sore puppy last night after playing superman yesterday, but I'm not sick and I may even duck a migraine today! Going over to my home to pick up a half dozen or so sets of plastic shelves early this morning when Kerry wakes so I can begin in the garage. The ceiling is so tall, I can fit 2 levels shelves for those big bins, built onto the wall with a 2x4 fur strip & ATR from the attic going through double-nutted holes. I can fit 130 linear feet of shelving above everything else! That's huge and makes this all doable.

Youngest daughter called yesterday...she is my "sweet one", she called to see if after my discussions with the 2nd broker, if I was really going to stop work. She is much like me in my belief that there has to be a better way for folks to exist than the rat race. She wanted to congratulate me for getting through it......how cool was that?
