Thanks Ray, depending on what they find it will either be drops or laser treatment so not too worried at the moment.
Great, at least there might be options. My oldest son Jim has had horrible eye sight since he was a little kid. He can wear contact lenses. But he is at the last possible prescription. That would help him see better. When they first came out with lasik. His eyesight was to bad for it to help. We figured as the lasik treatments got better. Someday it would be possible for Jim to get the procedure. He still is not a candidate for the procedure. Hopefully his eyes will not decline anymore. The only possible option he has. Is to have a cornea transplant. But that wouldn't be a guarantee.

That's really inconsiderate of your neighbours. I hope you have a better night tonight. Did anyone tackle them about it?
My neighbours will never change. I spend weekends in a state of anxiety; they are all home then and that's when they get up to all sorts. They were hosing chemicals into the lane again this morning in spite of me telling them about the wildlife. Very selfish.
The estate agents/landlords are looking into although I've heard this before. They have been noisy in the past but not all night and I shouted at them to be quiet at 4.30 am and they shouted 'sorry'. Other neighbours are trying to get them out frankly they behave like overgrown teenagers. Your neighbours seem to be amazingly stupid.

Has he looked into Implantable contact lenses (ICLs), ive seen it talked about for people that are ineligible for lasik

We were posting the other day. About forgetting where we put items. Well it played out yesterday. Before the hurricane I put some parts to a gate in a safe place. Yesterday I went looking for them and couldn't find. I spent a 1/2hr looking for the parts with no luck. I decided to ask Rose. Rose said she put the parts in the shed. She couldn't find the parts there. She then looked in the garage with no avail. She kept saying, I thought I put it right there. Needless to say we made a trip to home depot. 😂
Well at least you'll have some spare parts somewhere safe if it ever needs fixing again 😉😜

I hope he takes an eye vitamin like preservision Areds 2. It's held off Joe's problems for many years.

Good morning/afternoon all.
We've had lots of heavy rain this morning as Storm Ashley hits the UK.
It's brighter and drier now but we are being buffeted by strong winds of up to 45 mph in my area. Worse for those further west and in the north of the UK with up to 80 mph expected. Those gusts sound really scary! I bet a few trees are lost and possibly roofs in the worst hit places. Hopefully there won't be any casualties.🤞🙏. I hope the weather is quieter in your corners and everyone is having a peaceful Sunday. TTFN

I will ask him that also.
Thanks Cathie
I have had fairly poor vision all my life, but I manage pretty well with contact lenses- also I have been taking Eyewise for years - it contains Lutein and Zeaxanthin,as well some plant extracts - I can't be sure, of course, but I really think it has helped stop things getting worse. I may be able to get a cataract op for my left eye, but it will be a long wait, if so., and it's too expensive to get privately.

Dear @Yvonne G,

I hope you don't mind but I've tagged you into my Fridge Hibernation thread to see what you, @Tom and @wellington think about @pippin's tortoise's weight.

Thankyou very much

Natrah
That's one for Tom not me. I don't brumate/hibernate my Russian, so can't help at all with that.
I also never weigh my tortoises. They all eat good, grow, act normal, never been sick, so I don't bother.
