What’re your suggestions for low maintenance and good cover plants or grass for a red foot.

Yes, pothos is a good choice. The main trouble with plants is that tortoises destroy them in seconds. So either put already established plants or move them out of reach (e.g. wall pots, hanging pots).

Philodendron and alocasia are told to be safe for redfoots. However, don't overdo.

Coleus and boston fern grow fine in enclosures. Tradescantia grows fast but not resistant to mechanical damage, so suitable for low-traffic areas only.

For the ground cover you may try callisia repens or dichondra. Slow-growers like sagina subulata are, probably, a no-go. But I don't have a green thumb :)

Philodendron toxic per Chris Leon Garden State Tort and many other experts. Stay away.

Outdoors, my well fed Redfoot never seemed to eat plants in the enclosure.
I used lyriopi, spider plants, Pathos, elephant grass and ferns.
Indoors, Pathos has to be the king....it doesn't require much of anything. Including light. (Much of it)
