Lola made me laugh today and I wish I'd had my camera handy to show you why.
I put his food down, popped out for a moment and when I came back he was wearing it!
He must have stood on the edge of his dish, upended it and catapulted most of the food all over himself. He looked up at me as if to say 'Where did it all go?'

So i have to ask our friends across the pond an expansion to an earlier question.

Is air conditioning illegal in the UK? How much do you pay per KWH? Do stores carry AC window units that you can buy and install?

It does seem odd that so many places lack it when many claimed global warming was coming decades ago. You had plenty of time to install AC nationally or was your wealth spent on other things?

My electric bill for June was $161. My house is 74F 24/7/365. My garage is air conditioned as is my shed.

No it's not illegal, we've just never needed it in homes before the last few years. No idea how much it costs to run. I've heard some say it's expensive, but needs must,.

Maybe just a little window air conditioner would work for just if you really need it. Put it in one room. Don't run it unless you have to. We have to here. It has changed to a necessity in the last 20 years.

Heck my A/C is on all year long. Rose and I like it cold while we sleep. Poor Nanay has to use a space heater in her room to stay warm. It is like 80°f in her bedroom and I have the vent closed also in her room. She has lived in the philippines all her life. She hasn't adapted to the A/C yet.

Classic Rose, 4am in the. morning and still packing for our trip to Michigan. Will be leaving between 9 or 10 in the the morning today. Thank goodness my son Joe flew down from Michigan. To help share the drive back to Michigan. We are going to do it in 2 1/2 days. Hopefully my body can handle it. We won't have my son Joe helping with the drive home to Florida. So it will take us 5 days to get home. Rose can only handle between 4 or 5 hours a day of driving because of her back injuries from the accident.

It should be easier on Rose having my son doing most the driving. Maybe next year we will plan a visit to you all on the way home. Then we could take I-95 all the way home.
