How dangerous is this?

Hi everybody...
İ saved this guy from a car park. He was badly wounded and survived with lots of TLC. You can see the marks of the split he had in this shell.
İ know he is suffering from shellrot, but it all seems to be dry and hard. And İ don't know what İ can do to make it better?
Hope somebody can help?

The scrapes you are seeing are from a dog attack. It was a very long time ago. None of that is fresh. You have nothing to worry about with the shell damage you're seeing. I love that tortoise. How lucky you are to have found him.

Yvonne, do you mean the white stuff that was in the scars were a part of the healing process? The white stuff came of and we ended up with these huge gashes... İ thoughtthe white stuff was some kind of shell rot. Thank you for the explanation. I am really glad I saved him from that car park now.

I agree with Yvonne, I don't see any shell rot either. He's old and banged up is all. Nice of you to save him...
