Does anyone else have a loud breather?
I’ve noticed lately that my tortoise sounds like a hound dog sniffing. Sometimes it’s when he’s sniffing things in his enclosure, but other times he’s just relaxing and I can still hear him.
It doesn’t sound laboured and his nose is clear.
He also doesn’t open his mouth, yawn a lot or blow bubbles (he did this as a sick hatchling so I know what to look for)
He’s 2.5 now but when I got him as a hatchling he had reoccurring respiratory infections that I had to treat with antibiotic injection.
Is this normal and just something I never noticed before? He does have strong breath since I’ve seen things blow around him
