I was lucky enough to bring home a captive bred emys emys about three and a half weeks old. We're working on tracking his eating and drinking habits.I'm wondering two things.First- just how much food should we expect a healthy hatchling to eat? We see him nibbling collard greens each morning but the amount consumed seems really small. Of course he is only about 33 grams.
Second, does anyone else know of people who have mee babies from from captive bred (not captive raised) parents? If not, we may have a historic moment in watching this one grow as both of the parents we're captive bred!
If anyone is interested I'll try to post some photos once we feel that this little guy is stable in his new habitat.

I'm sure Vic Morgan must have captive born adults, doesn't he? So far all the babies I've been able to hatch out have come from one cb parent and one wc parent, but I'm working on it. ;)
