I have a zoo med canister filter and it sucks . I don't have any pictures of there set up in my phone . All I have in there enclosure is a basking rock and water . I have the mixing tube setting on a shelf in my garage with the basking lamp hanging off the ceiling with a four foot long uvb fixture . The uvb fixture is half on the sliders and half on my red foot tortoises that are on the floor below my sliders . This set up is there winter enclosure. I have pond for them for summer. Here is a picture of there summer home.

New turtle

Wow, Mike the outdoor pond is beautiful!! I would love to someday have something like that in my yard! Can they be kept in a turtle yard with box turtles ? I am dreaming of a turtle garden with a turtle pond

My red footed tortoises are in the same yard as my s sliders . I just have a little wall some they can't come into contact with each other .
This pond cost around two hundred dollars . It's a one hundred gallon pond with a three hundred gallon pond filter . All the rocks I got for free from my brother . The turtles love it .
