Shellys new viv came yesterday and I, with no DIY experience AT ALL, single handedly put it together. I did an okay job but lo and behold, now it’s all put together and sealed with aquarium sealant, I’ve noticed there are some considerable gaps around the base. I’ve sealed all along the interior base and up the sides but not around the exterior. Will this be okay? It’s too late to take it all apart and start from scratch and quite frankly I really don’t want to have to do that if this will be alright. It’s secured with ‘biscuits’ and screws and is very sturdy. Just I’m wondering if the gaps along the exterior will cause any problems further down the line. Thanks guys!

Likely not but you can get some silicone caulk and caulk them.
