My post was taken down, and I'm not sure why. I asked for suggestions and now it's gone.

Now she has taken to almost completely burning herself... I guess I'm just nervous. Is this normal? How long do I leave her like that before I panic?

What was the title of your post? I looked around the forum and I can't find where it was deleted or moved any place, however, I don't know the title of it? Give me that and I will look for it. Also, more info on the burning so we can help.

Was it the evil substrate post? That was moved to the substrate section of the Forum:

If you click on your User CP, or on your name it takes you to a page where you can see all the posts you've made since you've been a member. We don't remove them, but we do move them to the section where they should have been posted in the first place.

Reading this thread prompted me to take a look at all the posts you've ever made, and I found that none of them were placed in the spot on the Forum where they should have been. So I've moved all the ones where you're asking about substrate to the substrate forum, and all the ones where you're talking about your tortoise's habitat to the enclosure section, and the ones where you're asking about your tortoise's health to the health section.

To find your posts, click on your name, then click on either "Find all threads" or "Find all posts"

Also, I THINK that auto correct has changed "burying" to "burning."
