It has been brought to my attention that the graphic in our sex I.D. sticky is a bit hard to understand, regarding the space between the anal scutes. I'm calling on @N2TORTS and @allegraf and any of you others who are familiar with sexing the RF species to help me out a bit with this graphic. Is it right? Is it wrong? Is it helpful? Should I just discard the whole sticky?

I'm the one stirring the pot here. I think A < B is what the graphic should show rather than A > B. I'm referring to the text at the bottom only.

I agree with Chris on this one. It it a nice illustration that clarifies the issue! Well done!

The only other issue that I see with the picture is that some (many?) redfoot pictures that I see are never clear cut like that diagram. My "girls" still have wide V-shaped anal scutes and not a definitive tight U shape. Gender ID'ing is just confusing to begin with :)

I'm sorry, but I'm not computer literate. Is there anyone out there who can fix that graphic for us and change the A>B to the other way around?

I'm trying to figure out how I can get this graphic to you in an email so you can fix the picture rather than a copy. This is great, however, it's a bit blurry. I'd like to clear it up before I put it in the sticky.

I'll send you my email address, or do you have it from when I signed up as a member)
It's blurred because all I did was save the image then changed it in 'paint' on computer. I don't have Photoshop software to do it correctly. But if you email it to me I will find a way to correct it without being blurred.
You should just be able to attach it to the email.
