Alex, I like the stock tanks. They are extremely durable. Don't know how much room or what size you're looking for, but here are two I really like. they are virtually indestructible
This is very large but makes a good indoor pond If you have the room. Probably about $300 from a place like Tractor Supply or a feed store.

This one is smaller, and I used these to raise a lot of spotted turtles, painted, cooters, etc. This one probably runs about $75. It is 31" x 52" and 12" deep.

The 300 gal stock tank is nice, but most of its added "gallonage" is in height. I have used one of those and really liked it, but I had it outside to separate 1st year turtles and just ran pond water through the stock tank - so no extra filters needed, etc. I believe that one is roughly 5 ft in diameter and with it's depth is a great small "pond"!Ty Mark! I been researching these. We have 9 turtles. Best bet is the 300g stock tank. I just rearranged the livingroom yesterday in prep for its arrival. Thought I had one locally but the guy was a scumbag. I def. Like the pool idea. Will read up on it.
Agree wit the above. Kiddie pools are lightweight and the plastic used for them is thin and would likely not hold up in the sun for very long. The benefit of these pools is that they are indeed cheap to purchase.
Invest in the long term and go with the heavier material.
Here is an outside-the-box idea...go to American Bonsai Tools and look up these training tubs...

They are very heavy duty and relatively inexpensive. I got the 40 gallon one a year or so ago at a bonsai show and it's been great.
AlexTy but I need a minimum of 150g and up..we have 9 in our clan..

Don't know if price is a big issue, but if you really want to get into a nice product, here is a company that makes a lot of the holding tanks for Commercial / public aquariums. Any size you could ever want. Some with viewing panes... I got this source visiting with staff and exploring filtration methods and the holding tanks and quarantine procedures for the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific.

Then these tanks would be a good possibility for you. They are fiberglass construction and every quarantine, hospital, surplus, nursery tank I saw, they were using these tanks of various sizes - from 100 - 2000 gal tanks. Never an issue with leaking. Built for commercial applications. The diversity of sizes and depths is really an advantage. You can get one to fit any size area that would work best for your apt.Money is no worry...its will it flood my apt..Im done with tanks anf its clear water turtles need lots of space...trying to give them as much space as I can in my livingroom.
WOW!!!!!!Alex
