Activeness Questions

Hi guys!

So hermann is actually doing quite well but It was just a question on his activeness, he isn't lethargic like when he was ill but he just likes to sit around really lol.
He does go for a few walks then usually munch his food then he goes back to hiding under his log or sitting under the leaves like in the picture.

However always 15 mins before his lights go out like religiously he will start propping himself up to look out the glass and just sit there, usually watching me play my games. Is this normal I honestly don't know.

If everything seems normal thats good then !

The propping himself to watch you, not sure what that is about, other than just his personality. Maybe he's trying to say hey, I'm better entertainment than a game lol

It’s normal that he like naps a lot too yeah? Like he closes his eyes and just sits there but somehow knows to open them when I’m looking at him

This time of year, many slow down and eat less. As long as he acts normal otherwise, eating, pooping, basking, moving, and all temps, humidity and correct equipment is used, it should be no worries.

any idea whats up with him scratching in the corner of his enclosure?

That's what they do. Almost every tortoise in captivity digs in the corners. They're trying to dig a burrow.

Exactly what Yvonne said. All mine sleep in a corner. My Russian is the biggest corner digger though.
