Ya’ll think this would be good? It is overcast right now so it will get a bit brighter. The sun is brutal here.

Love it! It's great shade. The sun is very brutal here, mine stay in burrows most of the day. With that much shade in yours, they will be way more active throughout the day so that's great. Also, I love all the caesar weed growing in there, it provides a nice snack whenever they want to graze. I have one plant right near my pen. Do you mind sharing more pics of your enclosure? :)

It looks like you've found a sturdy way to exclude the larger predators in Florida. :) Keep an eye out for rats and mice, though. I think it's the rats that @ZEROPILOT has been dealing with in his part of the state recently.

The fruit trees that keep the rats fed are about done for the season.
Now the rats are seeking alternatives and leftover tortoise food is easy to grab.
