Adiabatic Humidifiers

Hello,

Is anyone using Adiabatic Humidifiers on this forum?
Like the ones that Pangea Matt sells?

Can this be a replacement for daily misting? I would think if you ran a Adiabatic Humidifier for an hour a day that would be better then misting.

Any thoughts?

Hi, and welcome!

I have found that with a closed enclosure, a humidifier or misting isn't required. With a humidifier, you run the risk of it cooling the air. Cool, moist air could be a death sentence for a baby tortoise. Having said that, some of our members do use humidifier/misting systems, and they swear by them.
