Hey everybody, someone reached out to me needing to find a home for their turtle knowing I had a lot of experience with reptiles and amphibians. They didn’t say he had any health issues and I agreed to take him once I got him I am now concerned he is not healthy here are pics. Am I️ wrong in thinking he should not be pink? Please help! Thanks!53775570943__983D4F69-F7B3-44C9-AFD6-E9E22CAB2B81.JPG53775571332__F2AA800F-8260-427E-9BDC-83BC4C738981.JPG53775570523__9D950B29-C1C3-4A72-AF7E-6F6DDAD6F994.JPG

I do not have experience with health issues in turtles. But I would have to agree that your turtle looks like it has a very uncomfortable condition. I hope someone who knows definitively will answer your question soon. I do think the best thing would be to take him to a vet for an over all exam.

I wish I knew what to tell you, but I have no experience with these turtles.
I second a trip to the vet- sooner rather than later.
