Hi,
Ive noticed my tortoise shell has uneven scutes, can anybody help with why it is like this and please tell me how to fix this? She lives in a wooden vivarium, lighting is good, I think she may have been over fed in the past, can a new diet help the shape?
Thanks

Greetings

Try to upload a few more photos of your entire enclosure & lighting & heating.

From what I can see, the Enclosure/substrate looks too small and too dry. Appears to be lots of relatively new growth, so thats good.

Yes, I see what you mean. Looks like the new growth is really going to town at the right shoulder. I doubt there's anything you can do about it. This is just his individual look. I agree with what Maro2Bear has told you about the enclosure.

Hi, is new growth normal? Will her shell look this way forever?

Yes, new growth is quite normal, however, it usually is more symmetrical between the scutes. Yours seems to be excessive on the right side and not so much on the left side.
