I am Stephanie harper and I am deaf

My saulcata is 25 year old and this is male and his name is spurry that is pretty name ??
I brought this saulcata from pet store that he was medium size so now he is 14 inch long and little heavy and big eat and eat and eat so I have to watch what he eat too much so I not want his shell get bad or bumping shell so that keep nice tortoise so I have track time and day what I have to feed this saulcata tortoise

Hi Stephanie: Let him eat as much as he wants to eat. The bumpiness of the shell is not caused by over eating, but rather by being raised as a baby in too dry conditions.

Hi again Stephanie.
Your tortoise gets no bad shell from what he is eating or too much eating, but from dryness. Spurry needs a warm bath 1 - 2 times a week and his shell will grow perfect.
Spurry is a good name for a sulcata me thinks.
