Good day every one have a question for who ever knows. I've finally reached the down hill slope on this much needed upgrade for my little Russian, Tutsie. However to make it more appealing I wrapped the out side with nice oak veneer and trim then stained and polyurethaned.

The main structer is done. Need to poly the doors still hence why there are not on the front and just sitting inside. My question is, after a day or so of drying I can still smell some fumes from the stain and poly, will it affect my torts breathing? Keep in mind she will be inside living on a separate pieceof wood (not pictured) that will slide in and out of the middle like a drawer. It and anything else will not be stained i only did one coat of each on the outside to protect the oak.

Thanks for the help guys!

Set it outside in the sun for a few days.

(What's wrong with "Tortoises"? The word 'tortoise' isn't a Latin spelling)
