Age of my Russian tortoise

I got my tortoise about a year and 1/2 ago and adopted one from a friend that they had about the same time...I just have one problem... I have NO idea how old they are.. someone please help I am so curious

You'll never know unfortunately. Unless it is relatively young you are just going to get a bunch of guesses +- 10 yrs lol

Tortoises don't do well in pairs. One will dominate the other and stress it out. If you see one that follows the other around, sits on top of it or tries to 'play' together....nope, that's not what's happening.

I've heard that probably 100 times.. mine don't do that honestly.. & I've kept close eye on it..

If you've heard it 100 times then that should tell you it's not a good idea. Why continue to risk it?

Yes mine are kept separate. wish I'd known when I bought them. and yes I thought mine got along fine too until I was soaking them one day and one decided to open its mouth and lean towards the other one to take a big bite out of his face.
