Hi, my tortie is a Greek he's a year old and he's awesome! (Nicest tortie I've ever met.) but on the other hand... I was feeding him today and I gave him two full dandelion plants ( I ran out of romain) so he was hungry afterwards. I put my finger up to wipe some left overs off his face and he bit me. He has really strong jaws. (Tortoise: yeah I work out [SMIRKING FACE]) anyways his beak is really sharp and I got a pretty good cut. Is this normal or was it an accident? Please help il really confused. Earlier today when I walked in the room he ran up to the edge of his tort table to greet me. Thanks guys all answers are appreciated.

Im sorry this happend. It is not personal, your tortoise is not holding any sort of grudge against you. I think it is just more a matter of cicumstances. Did he not like getting his face wiped? Was he still hungry and you looked tasty? Was he trying to defend himself? I dont know that anyone will be able to tell you for sure.
