Hi, I was just wondering... the tortoise table says that air plants are safe to feed, but is that all air plants or only specific kinds? Thanks!
The only air plants I'm familiar with are the tough, green and brown ones like these in the photo. My son picked up some air plants, and I was just wondering about silver sage. I couldn’t find any specific mention of that at The Tortoise Table site. It looks very different than the other air plants so I want to check to see if anyone knew if it was safe or not.
Wish I had them growing in my yard. I love those things. The only air plants I'm familiar with are the tough, green and brown ones like these in the photo.
I'm not aware of ANY animal that attempts to eat them.
I think the term "air plant" might be used loosely.
The one in the photo is particularly large.Wish I had them growing in my yard. I love those things.
Just bought a bunch for a project.
Most that can be bought for a reasonable price is around 2 inches. If you buy them in a group of say six, you might get one or two that are 4 inches. The one in the photo is particularly large.
Most are from 4" to 8" wide
Side job. Sell them. This particular area has larger than usual specimens.
Some are flowering with seed heads
You might want to compare the Latin names of your plant and the ones on the tortoise table to find out whether or not they are related. My son picked up some air plants, and I was just wondering about silver sage.
