This time of year is what i call the calm before the storm, LOL. Our egg laying season is over and this is the time there is a natural calmness amongst the entire breeding group. Male and female interact with a gentle sense of harmony and tranquility, basically no breeding at all, not even one event. This will continue until the rain starts then breeding season begins.

Hopie has been steady improving these days. He displays much more effort to walk, turn around, and his appetite is fantastic (he is very heavy, lol). We still give him lactulose solution(Rx) on a daily basis, soak him regularly, and keep him under heat every night. He will be six years old on June 4th this year. He needs constant management, however he is living a very happy and stress free life these days! Special he is (smile).
