Cleaned these guys up and gave them the once over so had to take a group photo. Developing nice and growing well

Thank you sir, trying my best to let them develop properly. I read one of you other posts about a substrate mixture you use but I forgot your mixture. What type of mixture would you use for these guys

It does add good color, Ive used them in pictures before. They can also really devour lots of them

Its not cheap I can tell yah that. Home depot has it in bags for like 10 bucks. But they are small. I always get a yard of it from a stone/mulch place. Its 80 bucks for a yard and that fills my truck bed up. Mix it with mulch and dirt. Or by itself. I like mixing it with top soil because straight granite will get very hard over time then you have to break it up.

When I ran around the San Gabriel foothills, outside of L. A. I would just collect it there on the trail side. The rocks and soil were/are mostly decomposed granite. We'd take the rocks home and crush them against each other.
