Amazing tortoise story!

Nah. Could not have survived locked in that room for thirty years with no food or water!!! This is another tortoise that somehow got in there more recently, of course. Beautiful story, though. Nice for Christmas and all that.

This one has been going around for awhile now. Not sure I believe it.
If there's any truth to it the father must have been feeding it. But this story is slightly different from the one posted here last year.
What about the theory mentioned that it was eating termites? Could that have kept it alive? 30 years is sooooooo long. You all are probably right.

It's an amazing story, but I agree it sounds a little bizarre. It may be partially true that they may have lost him for a while, but nowhere near 30 years. Yeah it may have been able to eat bugs, but it would've needed water to survive. Love the story, but I think there's more there than they are telling people.
