another question about coconut coir

I have a greek and wonder if this is a good substrate to use for him
5 years old
would if be too damp?

I use coco coir in all my pens. I like to let the top layer dry out and keep the under layers moist.

I use it mixed with organic soil. Excessive moisture has never been a problem because the soil tends to draw moisture from the coir. By mixing them well together and with regular spraying the whole substrate retains some moisture without having to be damp. A 5 year old Greek should already be at a well developed size and need less constant moisture anyway.
