I think I spoiled my sulcata turtles. I can't get them to eat any hay. If they are going to live for 100 years, they need to eat hay. I have been feeding them fruit and veggies. They also have grasses from the yard. I only give them fruit and veggies when I have some. I am really trying not to feed them any extras so they will eat the hay. They think they're starving. Does anyone have a suggestion? Things I have tried. No extra food at all, except grass in the yard, of course. I keep timothy hay, and I have tried orchard hay. I put it where they usually get fed. They are both 2 years old.

They need continuous grazing food. Have you got hibiscus and they will eat a branch. I have seen melons and squash provided and consumed!. I suggest you read the care sheet to check your set up and correct as required.

They don't eat hay until they get bigger, usually around the time they're big enough to live outside.

I can't believe no one has said "DO NOT FEED A SULCATA TORTOISE FRUIT".
Oh. @Sarah2020 has.
This is a rare (almost never) treat. Not part of a Sulcatas diet.
They are unable to process sugars and you'll get a very ill tortoise.
Hopefully he's OK.
