Any improvement?

I adopted George 6 months ago. He is pyramid ed and was dry when I got him. I'd like to know if his new growth and she'll looks any better yet to you? Before and after pics...the photo on astro turf was taken at the shelter in adopted him from. The rest, on the white table, we're taken today.

Too me especially in the last pic the new growth seems smoother than the old growth. But it's quite hard to see in these pictures. Cute tort!

Thank you. I think he definetely looks less dry. Alono with the colors on his face seemed to have popped out. But I am trying to tell if new growth is smooth or not.
