Are hard poops ok

Bubby usually has like softer ones but lately there been and he's eating less and hes had two anal prolapses I don't know if these are connected but is there anything wrong with him?

Also soak more often. I'd soak every day for a couple of weeks due to this issue. Take a picture of the prolapse when it happens again. It might be something else...

I used to soak him everyday but a vet was like don't. Do that so I stopped and then this happens so I'll start again

Vets that actually understand tortoises are few and far between.
The rest are more or less charging you money to experiment on your animal.
Yet, there are many things that only vets can do for you.
As for the daily care of your animal, this community represents the newest and best information by actual enthusiast/successful keepers.
I'd closely follow advice from our more active and trusted members.
I certainly do.
Learn and contribute and in the future, you can help out someone else just getting started.
It's a fantastic community we have here.

Oooh well I will definitely keep that in mind he also needs to be dewormed do you any suggestions for brand or should I not do it?

Give Veterinarians a break here. Ninety nine percent will offer referral if they are not proficient in reptile medicine or at least let you know that they are willing to try to help if you are unable to use a veterinarian that is. Ask!
