I’m looking to build an enclosure for a Hermanns. There are a couple plants in the space that I don’t really want to get rid of, but I don’t know if they’re ok for tortoises?
One is one of the bushes that are often cut into shapes.
the other is some type of ivy, maybe English Ivy?
I’m not exactly sure what they are. I’ll try to post pics

Ok thanks!
Are there any good edible climbing plants that you know of that I could replace the ivy with?

Hi @NightOwl - welcome to TFO! You might want to check out this site for native plants: US Wildflower's Database of Wildflowers for Tennessee . Also, there is the Tennessee Native Plant Society who should be able to help you out, or point you in the right direction. @Lyn W recommended TTT Plant Database. Here is a link to the Trees, Shrubs, and Climbers page. You'll want to look for the intersection of plants that grow wild in your area that are safe also to feed to your tort. Good luck! Let us know how you make out.
