Hi all
Ares still hanging in there. Will not eat but shows a little interest in food. Looks at it, smells it, might even take a tiny bite once or twice. Then he literaly makes a face. In water puddle, he puts his head in, and kinda blows bubbles, almost like he is breathing in water...I read somewhere that torts can "drink" thru their nostrils. Or perhaps he is just trying to drown himself....My poor guy...
I have not seem him gulp like he typically does when drinking.
Soaking him 2x day in bathtub with pedialyte and strained carrots.
He walks around quite readily once I get him out of enclosure onto lawn. Interactive with me, just very low energy compared to normal.
Appt with Dr Molnar this friday am. Just sent his office prior xrays and notes. I sure hope for a firm diagnosis and treatment plan. Please keep him in your thoughts. He is a very good boy...
