Automatic mister?

Hi, I am working on a much needed enclosure update for my tort, and I need some help. My main problem is that (I mentioned this earlier) I go back and forth between two households. From an earlier post, he is going to be staying at one house. I have someone to take care of him when I’m gone, but I was curious if anyone has experience with automatic misters? I had one a couple years ago with chameleons, but I wanted to know, while I am away, if it would be a good idea for a juvenile leopard tortoise so I can ensure his enclosure meets the correct humidity levels every day. I had a MistKing for a while on a timer 2-3x a day for 15 to 30 seconds, it worked wonderfully. The only issue I had was that after a while (even when using distilled water) the sprinkler parts would get mineral buildup and would not work as well.

Thank you, do you think a reptifogger would work the same? I’ve also seen people use mini humidifiers, thoughts?

I have been reading lately that foggers aren't great because they may contribute to respiratory infections. I think periodic short term misting would be better personally.

I use MISTKINGs with my Chameleons.
It is a superior product.
However, a correctly set up "Closed chamber" enclosure can go a week or two very easily without needing any additional water or maintenance and is a better and easier way of doing things.
My Chameleons need both humidity and water droplets. They also need a lot of ventilation.
It's a totally different situation.

You shouldn't need a mister or fogger with the right set up.
