Hi everyone! I have had Harriet for about a month and a half. She is a baby eastern hermanns tortoise (born july 1 2024).

She has developed a problem with flipping herself over. I think she falls off her half log (i have found her at the end upside down 3 times) and just yesterday I found her near the corner upside down. I read things about having rocks around to help her right herself. Can someone post a photo? It’s confusing to me. But are there any other ways to help her? I think I catch it quickly because I find her still moving. It has happened 4 times in the time I have had her. She worries me lol. Any insight!?

Also a side question: what is a serving of Hikari Mulberific Delite pellets? I can’t find anything online. Going into winter she is eating more pellets. Thanks everyone!

Can we see a picture of the enclosure? That would help.

What are your four temperatures? Warm side, cool side, basking area, and overnight low?

What types of bulbs are you using for heating, lighting and UV? Not the brands, but the types of bulb.

A serving size will vary with the size of the tortoise, the seasons, the current weather, and more. I would give the tortoise as much as it wants, but try not to have leftovers that will be wasted.

First move the half log for now. Get her a straight sided hide.
As for climbing the corners, a pic of the enclosure would help us help you as to what to do for that.
