That looks like sphagnum moss. Are you sure it came out of the tortoise? If so, looks like he's eating his substrate.

That looks like a completely undigested food, suggesting torts digestive system is not function properly.

I would start troubleshooting by:
1) Rechecking the ambient and basking temperatures (tortoise may be too cold, and unable to reach and sustain ideal core temperature that supports digestion/fermentation).

2) Adding fiber to the diet (finely chopped up grass or fresh, soft hay mixed with weeds and dark leafy greens.

3) Tortoise may be over hydrated. (Too much forced hydration + too much moisture + too much wet food low in fiber)

I think that the food was too wet, now I'm giving dry leaves.
A month ago the tortoise have had some parasite trouble so the vet said to me to treat it with panacur.., I don't know if change something...

How did yours do with the Panacur? My little Leo had a bad reaction to it after being diagnosed with "wall to wall pinworms". My vet discontinued treatment and her activity and appetite have improved greatly. She got through all but one treatment before I got really worried. Has anyone else experienced this?
