bamboo

here are some pics of bamboo growing in my garden, I noticed that some bamboos are OK - can anyone say for sure either way on this one ?

The bamboo you have pictured is called Golden Goddes. All true species of bamboo's are safe for torts. The one most confuse and IS NOT a true bamboo is called * Heavenly Bamboo* aka. Nandina Domestica, this is not a bamboo but in the Barberry family, Berberidaceae. All parts of this plant are poisonous containing hydrocyanic acid. Easy to identify with the little red berries.
