Basking temp

My basking temp was 90, so I lowered it now it’s 102, I can’t get it in the middle so what would be better for my baby hermann tortoise?

As long as the enclosure is large enough to provide a large temperature gradient, 102 is fine as the hottest part of the basking spot

I would hook it up to a dimmer switch and you can control the exact heat without moving it up and down or anywhere for that matter just a slide of the switch to get the degrees you want works great that's what I use
