Beauty died today....

Hi all

I lost my smallest tortoise, Beauty, today.

I've not been on here for a while, no internet connection at home since we moved house, but if any of you remember my worries about her skin falling off on her legs?

Seems we were misdiagnosed by the vet we went to originally, the new vet who we took her to 3 weeks ago when the problem flared up again did some further tests and it seems she had been burnt at one point and developed an infection in the site of the burn, which over time had obviously healed up, then opened up again.

Despite antibiotics and vitamins etc we lost her this morning, she just wasnt strong enough to recover.

My other three are doing fine, but it has been an upsetting day for all of us, especially my 2 kids.
