Also wondering how is he looking like looking healthy or not healthy or anything like that also the white stuff is calcium powder from his food

Looks good to me, just some hard water stains on the shell but that’s no concern.

Just to check, are you sure you’ve used orchid bark? Because the substrate looks like coconut chips in this photo

I can see it is coconut chip, you don’t need to replace it right away if you aren’t able for cost reasons, but they are best avoided in the future because of the fibrous strands, you want to go for orchid bark when it comes to refreshing next

Also, from the picture, if his face is covered with calcium, you are using too much calcium at one time. Best is a pinch sprinkled all over, but lightly enough that it barely shows up visibly, and only a couple times per week.

Do you feed Mazuri 5M21 pellets? Tortoises usually love Mazuri (provided you get the right one for the species of tort you have - 5M21 is the right one for Red Foots), and it has enough calcium - along with all sorts of vitamins and other minerals that your tortoise needs. Its a good addition. If you do feed it, you don't need to add calcium those days, it provides enough.

I will look into the pellets and yes the powder came out too fast and I put to much on there although thanks for the advice I still probably giving him to much so I will start giving him a pinch
