Well Mega Ray..Doesn't return emails or call people back... So I'm looking for the best UVB bulb for my Sulcatas... I wanted to place them on the ceiling but it looks like I will be hanging them on chains..Want something strong so I can keep the bulb 30" from the substrate...(I am not using fire retardant hay;) ) and the guys can get there UVB...

Also the area is a 20x12 room decided into 2 - 20x6 enclosure by a corral fence

Should I place a bulb every so many feet??

Thoughts opinions?

Thank you

I like the Zoomed powersun. For your setup you probably want the 160 watt bulb. 30 inches above the substrate seems a little high though, I believe with most of these bulbs the most output of UVB is between 12-20 inches. You might want to think about moving the bulbs more in that range.

I'm thinking the Mercury UVB/UVA is a good bulb for turtles and torts, I have heard good things about them. I use repti-glo it has a 10.0 UVB power which is nearly dessert but it does really well but this is for my aquatic turtles. But for torts I try the mercury good luck :D
