Hi, I have a baby marginated tortoise and I recently noticed a little blister looking bump develop in its lower neck. Is this a cause for concern?

Could actually be a blister from maybe pinching skin somehow.

I'd wait a week to see if it vanishes.

Have a vet lance and culture it.

What was the source of this baby?

I can contact to get an appointment. I bought this tortoise and another one from tortoise supply a month ago. Unfortunately one of my little guys didn't make it and I am not sure why. I have been trying to do everything right since the beginning. I am a bit paranoid with my remaining tortoise but every little thing makes me nervous! Thanks for the reply.

He's very beautiful and I hope he will survive. There are great people here with a lot of experience who will be happy to help you, especially if you can post some more pictures of him and his enclosure, and give us details of his conditions - temperatures, humidity, diet. And what is that substrate?
I am sorry the other one did not make it. Such a lot of stuff like this happens and it is usually the fault of the sellers, selling them too young, in poor health, etc.
