This is the closest to blond that I have seen.
This girl is OLD!!!! But looked this way in 1979.
I have other Females about the same age from the same location that are dark brown just like when they got here.
Not much help I know!

This is another OLD girl that is about the same age. Totally worn smooth (almost) & a nice dark brown. She needs BIRTH CONTROL!

tort guy.. those blonde babies grow up to have "larger" yellow blotches on their carapace.

Started like this -

Compare nose 'patterns' ---

Two years 6 months later -

Etc., etc....

The poster might mean a hypomelanistic Redfoot which will stay a "bonde" color throughout it's whole life.

Any pictures of her today Terry?

No..actually he turned out looking a lot like a male.... and unfortunately I let someone convince me that they didn't like the red ones and wanted a male to breed with the yellow female that she had. Only to find out a few months later that she decided to breed 'dragons' because there was 'quicker' $$$ to be made - so she traded them both...............

I personally am always intrigued by the different color morphs that a tortoise species can get. Like the blonde redfoots, albinos, the snow leopards always intrigues me.
