Hi is this a good enclosure for an eastern box turtle? It has a UV strip light from my aquarium and the CHE would be mounted inside. The clear stuff is Lexan, and it would be locked so my cat cant get in. Should it have some ventilation holes, or will that just lose the humidity? The dimensions are 1'6" wide, 3' long, and 1' high at the front and 1'6" high at the back. How long will this be suitable for an EBT? Can an adult be housed in this? Any other advice?

I would only house a hatchling upto maybe a year old. Deff not an adult. I would put some kind of air holes, if it isnt opened any place else. If you put them towards the bottom, you won't lose much heat out of them as heat rises.

If you put a CHE inside that small enclosure, it will dry everything up fast. The size is only good for a hatchling, nothing older than that. You're better off getting a breeder tank and setting it up as a vivarium with plenty of plants and a water dish.
