Bright Eyes is my blind female ornata. She loves slugs......yuck
A bit yeuch, yeah.
I used to keep slow worms and they ate little white slugs as their staple diet.
Pulling them out from underneath rocks and from dense vegetation even in the middle of winter was no fun at all.
But I got such satisfaction when they ate them.

I can only imagine what might taste good if I didn't have to see it first?

Amazing that they locate by smell mostly, great turtle you have there, and great shot yum yum!

She's gradually gotten cataracts, she can tell the difference between light and dark. She's a darned good eater. And a very easy keeper....
