Hi, I have a new horsefield, aged 7-8 she has a few nails broken right down to a stump and one is growing sideways, it doesn't seem to be causing her any problems but I cant imagine it been very nice for her, is this ok or do I need to see someone?
Thanks

I think she is going to be aok....however, if you notice that she is wearing the nails down to a bloody nub I would be concerned...but in the mean time you can likely give the enclosure a once over to make sure that there is not strictly rough ground space....or perhaps there is something that the tort is messing with too much causing the nail issue...?

The curved one sounds overgrown. Are her other nails long? They may have gotten too long and broke off.
