I noticed this a few days ago. It's still here. My thought is possible "burn" from heat source? He lives indoors, in a huge tortoise table, and goes outside daily. The glass door to the lower portion of the table (It's two story) gets hot if we have an external heater going. Since I saw this, I've relocated the heater. We only use it to get the table up to temp in the morning. It's off during the day. The area has no broken skin, seems the same texture, just discolored. Do torts bruise??? Bug bite???
After my last embarrassment, I don't want to call the vet. I also don't know what this is, so it's bothering me. All his normal daily activities seem normal, and it doesn't seem to bother him.
