My RedFoot turtle buried himself yesterday and hasn't made a reappearance today! Should I unbury him or let him be? He is inside in his tank so he is safe, I am just concerned he will suffocate! Thanks in advance!

As new as I am to tortoises, I think it would be best to leave him be. Tortoises have been digging and burying themselves in mud, dirt, and Lord knows what else for many thousands of years (if not longer). If they are buried, its very likely because they want to be buried, and extricating them from that state will unnerve and stress them out.

Leave him be. Are the temperatures in the mid 80's? Humidity high?
